Meet the Millers
Married for a dozen years this St. Patrick’s Day, Jeremy & Kate have built an ever-growing family of twelve: the happy couple, 3 healthy children, 4 dogs, 2 horses, and 1 lizard. Both animal lovers, plans are underway to build a barn on their private 8 acre property in Fredon, New Jersey.
Accepted into an internationally accredited animal therapy program, Kate is currently pursuing her certification in Animal Assisted Therapies as both a professional, and as a patient…
Kate was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer in 2021.
5 months of chemotherapy infusions, 3 major surgeries, and daily hormone therapy has amounted to 2 years in remission; but she still faces serious health challenges regularly. Her and her family’s struggles have made Kate deeply empathetic, much like her lifelong loves - and most cherished & honored anniversary gifts - horses.
Horses are so healing that this has become so much more than just a gift, a passion, or therapy for Kate. It’s become this entire family’s way of living… horses & humans healing in harmony.
